About Us

What We Do

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of recreation programs for all interests, ages, and abilities. You will find information on programs, activities, and events on the left panel of this page. Programs and events primarily take place at The Aquatic & Community Center, City Park, Oakville Park,  Wildcat Sport & Fitness, or the Mayfield Middle School

Thanks to the passage of Issue 9, the Mayfield Heights Aquatic & Community Center opened this year at 6080 Marsol Road. The new facility is now home to the Parks & Recreation Department, and with a gym, 55+ fitness center, meeting rooms, and beautiful event center, along with the state-of-the-art aquatic center, this new facility will be the hub of the city where our residents can meet, play, learn, and celebrate.

What's Coming

The city received a TLCI grant from the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) that made possible a comprehensive, city-wide study to identify long-term objectives for community connectivity via non-motorized trails. We are working to increase community pride with these new additions to the city.  For more information on these projects, click Parks, or Trails.
