Road Work
The Service Department is responsible for maintaining the more than 46 centerline miles of roadways within the city. This includes, but is not limited to repairing potholes, resurfacing of streets, repairing curbs, and street sweeping.
Traffic Signs & Signals
The Service Department is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all public city street signs and the operation and maintenance of all traffic signals. All traffic signs and signals are installed and maintained in accordance with the Federal Highway Administration Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. All traffic signage on state highways are maintained by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
